I think of Beethoven, who in his Diary, noted : “Work hard, do your duty, without worrying about the consequences, the outcome good or bad; this indifference will bring your attention back to spiritual considerations. Find refuge in wisdom alone, because concern about results is the cause of unhappiness and misery”.
Though Pascale seems to have spontaneously adopted this attitude, there is no denying that the results are there in front of our eyes, and that she is
a genuine painter. There is a nature here that astonishingly,
rests on a style whose personality is already evident.
